教學與修業
本所的研究生教育以研究訓練為核心，結合基因體學、生物資訊、生命科學與資料分析。學生除了建立專業知識，也透過課程、專題討論與實際研究，學習如何從科學問題出發，運用實驗與計算方法探索生命科學問題。
Graduate education at GIGB is centered on research training and integrates genomics, bioinformatics, life sciences, and data analysis. Through coursework, seminars, and hands-on research, students develop the knowledge and skills to formulate scientific questions and investigate them using experimental and computational approaches.
ADMISSIONS
招生資訊 Admissions
本所透過跨領域整合型研究，培養學生具備基因體學與生物資訊學之實務能力，以及產業與學術研發能力，並應用於個人化醫療、生物科技與資訊產業等領域。
The Institute provides interdisciplinary training in genomics and bioinformatics, preparing students with practical skills for academic research and industrial applications, including personalized medicine, biotechnology, and information technology.
歡迎生命科學、資訊及相關領域學生加入本所。本所提供正取生獎學金新臺幣 10,000 元，錄取新生亦可申請相關獎助學金。
Students from life science, information technology, and related fields are welcome to apply. Admitted students may receive a scholarship of NT$10,000, and additional scholarships or financial support may also be available.

面試｜Interview
推薦甄試主要包含書面審查及面試，實際面試時間與地點請依當年度公告為準。
Recommendation admission mainly includes document review and an interview. Check the latest announcement for the interview time and location.
11 月上旬～中旬｜Early to Mid-November
放榜｜Admission Results
錄取結果通常於面試後約 1～2 週公布。
Results are usually announced about one to two weeks after the interview.
11 月中旬｜Mid-November
網路報到｜Online Registration
正取生須完成網路報到，備取生須完成入學意願登記。
Admitted students should complete online registration. Waitlisted students should submit their enrollment intention.
11 月～隔年 2 月｜November to February
新生名單及備取遞補｜New Student List and Waitlist Updates
學校將陸續公告新生名單及備取遞補資訊。

CURRICULUM
課程規劃 Curriculum
本所課程涵蓋基因體學、生物資訊、分子與結構生物學、微生物基因體、資料分析及相關生命科學領域。學生可依研究方向與指導教授建議規劃個人的修課組合，並透過專題討論與論文研究逐步發展獨立研究能力。
The GIGB curriculum covers genomics, bioinformatics, molecular and structural biology, microbial genomics, data analysis, and related areas of life science. Students develop an individualized study plan according to their research interests and the guidance of their advisors, while building independent research skills through seminars and thesis research.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
修業與學位 Degree Requirements
碩士班學生須依本所及國立中興大學相關規定完成規定學分、專題討論、論文研究及學位考試。實際修業規定依學生入學年度適用之規章為準。
Master's students are required to complete the designated coursework, seminars, thesis research, and degree examination in accordance with the regulations of GIGB and National Chung Hsing University.
